New Year's Eve

It's been almost a week since I've posted and a crazy week it's been. There is always something going on in my life. There is so much I have to be thankful for this year! Even through the rough times I've had towards the end of this year, the good still out weighs the bad in every way. God really has been good to me no matter how far or how close I have been with Him throughout the year. I am blessed to be called His child. What are some good times that sticks out for you in 2005? I'll have to post mine up later.

Have a great New Year's Eve and please be careful whatever you are doing tonight!

What did everyone get? anything good?

**sorry peggy, I don't have anything good to let you know about. Nothing is happening in my part of Dallas (I'm in Coppell, anyone want to play?)! How's Taiwan?**

UT football

Who did it?!?! Who did it?!?! Starters...One on O-line, One on D-line...
Actually I don't even care who did it (but I think I know). But why, why, why do you guys have to possibly be involved in something, possibly do something, or possible start something that has led to this point? What the heck? Yes, I know nothing has been charged and these are only alleged accusations, but it can be distracting. An on going investigation doesn't help. That's all I'm saying. I'm NOT saying that they are guilty, I am just saying that this could possibly hurt us. Let us not relive the 2000 Holiday Bowl incident. Mac Brown is great and Vince can help take care of the team...lets hope so. Even if it comes to the end and we're going without them, I'm pretty sure we will win the Championship anyways, but it's always good to have the WHOLE team together.
I still *heart* Longhorn football team, no doubt about that!

almost done

All the stores were crazy today!
I wish I were done shopping because I do not want to go back to the mall for a long, long time!
I did get most presents bought and now it's really just my parents and a few here and there. I still have no idea still what to get my parents. Nothing has popped up yet, at least I still have a week? What sucks though is as I shop, there are so many other things that I want but can't have. I swear I found something in almost every store that I would love to have! Shoes shoes and more shoes!

Oh yeah, before I went shopping, I finally got my haircut, near my house. I didn't want to drive all the way to Bellaire. Nothing drastic at all, I only really wanted a trim and relayer. If I had gotten to the salon earlier, I would have gotten some color in my hair, but I lolligag. You guys probably can't even tell I got it cut. But my stylist, Liliana, laughed at me because I hadn't gotten a cut in like 8 months or possibly 9. She said it was a good thing my hair is straight so someone can't really tell how bad it looks. How sad, and I am the one that keeps herself groomed the most between the two sisters! Yes, it had been that long, but you couldnt tell because most of the time it was up in a pony tail. When you work in rehab with kids, you probably want your hair tied back anyway! I really like her, had good conversation, and she's pretty quick. I think I'll go back to her and not 9 months from now either!

On another note, I finished my class on Tuesday instead of Thursday. I really just wanted to get it over with. Took my final and got out of there! Hopefully she will be posting an A. I miraculously exceeded what I needed to get on my final to get the A. I wish grad schools would hurry up and tell me if I got in or not. Better yet I wish they would stop screwing up my stuff!

Time to wrap some presents :D

Hole

Christmas shopping has put a huge hole in my bank acct. I guess this is why I should have gotten a job instead of sitting on my rear all day long. So much for moving back home to save money...I could have at least had a job in Austin! Oh well...thankgoodness for new credit cards with 0% balance transfers and 0% til 2007.
OK...I exaggerate...my bills aren't that crazy. I know better :D I am a responsible adult :0

I guess I am going to head back out there to do some more shopping and possibly get that haircut that I've been talking about for weeks!

update

Thursday: took my a&p test, got the grade I needed (thank goodness!) and drove to austin to begin Kelvin's celebration! We had dinner at NxNW...pretty good food there, especially the fries! then the boys went out...

Friday: ohmygoodness do I miss my old job! I miss my coworkers and all those cute cute kids! I spent Friday afternoon helping them decorate the clinic and cooking. It was soo great to to talk to everyone at the party again. I wanna go back :(
(no one is looking at my camera...boo)

Then off to dinner at Abuelo's for Kelf's Birthday! I didn't know it was graduation weekend, but there were still a lot of ppl who showed up. Abuelos has pretty decent food and our waiter was phenomenal! Everyone loves Kelvin :D
That was great fun!

Saturday: woke up and drove back to Houston for Emerson's company dinner and watched A Christmas Carol. It's been a long time since I saw that play and it's not what I remembered. Did the play always have those scary skeleton ghosts? or maybe I am just remembering the Disney version!

Sunday: watched the Texans lose again. Why, why, why can't you guys just keep your lead or freakin make a field goal! I wonder if Reggie Bush will help us?

last minute accomplishments do pay off

So I finally finished my 9 (yeah it's only 9, but when you start it the day before, 9 is a lot!) page research paper on Autism at 1:40 pm. I'm running out of the house and going to Kinkos/FedEx because both of my printers at home are broken. I get there at 2:00. They have computers there that you can use, except they charge you an arm and a leg.
Prices go like this: $0.49 per copy & $0.20 per minute.
I spend $5.39 on copies and 10 minutes worth of time because they purposely make the computers there slow. I get to class early...she grades my paper..100. That's right, she puts a big, fat 100 on there! Man, I'm good...muhahaha

yum...dinner time! Popeyes chicken for meeee :D

outrageous!

Tickets for the Rose Bowl went on sale at 10:00 this morning. By like 10:05 am, nothing was available. By 11:00 am tickets were going for at least $1000 each on ebay. Ridiculous...absolutely ridiculous.
Guess I'll be watching it from home then. Wait...who am I going to watch it with? It's in the middle of the week and everyone I know works! You guys better be taking a day off to watch TEXAS kick some USC bootie!!!

Gotta finish my paper now. It's due in 3 hours. sigh.

Smell the ROSES baby!

I'm starting to see that I am at least a day late in writing what has already happened to me. oh well. So like my previous post said, I got to go to the Big 12 game, last minute, courtesy of Justin, but a HUGE HUGE thanks to Jason for actually wanting the tickets and seeing the game and then to drive to Houston at midnight. I *heart* Jason !!! I wonder what he would do for Texas basketball tickets if they were in the FINAL FOUR!!!

Big 12 conference game was at Reliant Stadium. I've never been there to watch a Texans game(I would at least try to go if they could win more than 1 game! I still love em anyway).
The game was AWESOME...even if it was a blowout (70-3). Nothing compares to being there with the ENTIRE stadium bleeding burnt orange! Literally the stadium was filled with Longhorn fans with the exception of the Colorado band and a few family members of the football team that were barely noticeable. They were suppose to reward the most spirited Buffalo fan, but I don't think they found one!

Our seats were in the TEXAS endzone, like 8 rows up from the field. I didn't think they were that bad. I was able to see most everything happening on the field and if not, that's what the jumbotron is for! It was so freaking hot! It felt like it was September out there and it's December! Everyone around was sweating like crazy, and it didn't help the sun was brightly shining in our faces until the second half. We stayed all entire time, even through the ceremony. I wanted to hear them give Texas an invitation to the Rose Bowl!
Now, how to obtain ROSE BOWL tickets and get myself to Pasadena to watch TEXAS run all over USC!

ROSE BOWL...here we come!

Justin Lo Rocks my Face Off

I *HEART* JUSTIN LO

So the BIG 12 game is tomorrow or today...I was looking for tickets earlier online because they released the rest of the tickets due to Colorado fans not buying them (yeah they know who's going to OWN them yet again!) but they were like over $100 each and no seats next to each other. I was soo sad...BUT then I found out that...Justin is my HERO!!!

Justin Lo is the coolest guy ever!
Even if that one time in PL he made the sea gulls poop on me :(
He's giving me his BIG 12 tickets!!!
I am soo pumped!

But I am sorry you're not going. It stinks to let school get in the way of fun things.
You'll get those ROSE BOWL tickets and the game will be a million times better!

HOOK 'EM HORNS!!!

queen of procrasination

It's almost 10pm and I stayed in tonight so I can write my 8-10 page research paper for A&P. I got nothing done...well, I stapled the research articles I found to seperate them. I'll be writing about Autism but that will be after I bake some brownies. haha...

I also was suppose to have started this early this afternoon, but I opted to xmas shopping instead. I went for 5 hours and found hardly anything! What do people want that they don't already have? I'll be back to write more about the shopping trip after my brownies are made!

insomnia & headaches

Hm...I have a lot to say since my test on Tuesday, but everytime I sit down and want to write, it's like after 2:00am. Good thing it's only 1:30am but being on here right now does not help me fix my sleeping schedule. Maybe my sleeping habit, or lack there of, is giving me my crazy painful headaches. Like the ones where you feel like there is a hanner in your head, and it's pounding away at you skull. Wednesday night on my way home from small group, I didn't know if I was going to make it! I felt nauseous and wanted to vomit. Yeah...I know...gross. I've been having one everyday for the past two weeks and lasts most of the entire time I'm awake. sigh. Anywho, I'll be xmas shopping later today. Let me know what you want, or you might end up with something hidious...muhaha :D
time to lay down for a few hours...good night now!

test tomorrow

I really should be studying and not starting a blog at this hour. I wonder if I will continue writing on here since I'm doing this to procrasinate. You and I will just have to see!
